About the Company and Owner
I remember being a child and every school year we had to opportunity to make paper snowflakes. I was addicted to making them because no two could truly ever be the same. Especially when you are free cutting. I use to make tons of them. This is where my love for paper was just starting. As I gotten older and tried many different forms of paper my love for journaling would soon catch up to me. I was intrigued by the book "Diary of Anne Frank" and would start writing daily about life, in the even it was taken away, I would have memories left behind for others to read about me and my life.
I used tons of different papers and I would staple them together and try to create the perfect journals that were for my eyes only.
Later on, around the age of 16 I became a teen mom and had to learn to be creative as money for a teen mom was scarce so I would try my hand at other things. Sewing, building, card making, book binding, childrens books and the list goes on.
Paper has been around for decades, eons even and my love for it has grown through out the years. In my 20’s I decided to venture out into the real world and open a shop to give back to my community. I started with birthday banners, invitations, things to give back to the community and in 2009 "A Love for Paper" opened its doors and we remained open with the help of my local community and paper fans from around the world.
Here we are today, let us get to creating!
